Job Description:

I am looking for someone truly excited about U.S. politics and making a positive difference in the world. As the first hire, you’ll be positioned at the forefront of exciting political and real estate ventures, with the opportunity to take on greater responsibilities, including managerial roles, as the team scales. As a Democrat-aligned public servant, I’m seeking someone who is at least loosely aligned with these ideals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage calendars, schedule meetings (including calling organizations and people), organize email s, and track tasks across various projects.
- Research: Conduct targeted research on U.S. politics, policy issues, and business growth strategies.
- Social Media Management: Schedule posts, assist with content updates, and monitor engagement.
- Task Assistance: Assist in tasks such as spreadsheet entry, assembling contact lists for phone outreach, coordinating constituent services, and supporting other administrative needs.
- ChatGPT Prompt-Writing: Assist in writing and refining prompts for various tasks using ChatGPT.

Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tools.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT prompt-writing.
- Ability to schedule meetings via phone or email with organizations and individuals.
- Alignment with progressive/liberal values.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Suite, Zoom, and project management software (Trello, Asana) is a plus but not required.
Growth Opportunity:
You will start at 15 hours per week, with the potential to grow to 40 hours per week after a 2-month trial period. Pay begins at $2/hour, with performance-based raises as the business and your role expand. You’ll begin with core administrative, research, and task responsibilities, eventually taking on more complex roles such as project management and team leadership.
Communication Expectations:
- Prompt response window: 8 PM to 1 AM US MST, where immediate responses and follow-up on tasks are expected.
- Flexible daytime window: Checking in and responding during the morning and day. Immediate responses aren’t required unless specified.
