The Role

The MIS and Data Insights Analyst is responsible for data reporting requirements from various units of Retail Banking Segment. This includes MIS reports, monitoring reports, volume and count summary reports of specific data requirements.Interpretation of and insights from data will be used for implementing business decisions. The position is expected to take end-to-end ownership, from business analysis, data requirements, data extraction, delivery mechanism, monitoring and analyses that have a direct impact on the bank's bottom line.

How you'll contribute

  • Provides key metrics using relevant data-driven analyses to support business users in monitoring and decision-making.
  • Identifies drivers of revenue growth using data analyses to provide insights for revenue optimization and cost minimization.
  • Ensures program creation and maintenance thru proper data security protocols to adhere to bank policies and procedures pertaining to data and MIS report releases
  • Develops dashboards and reports using any available software (Python, Quicksight, PowerBI, SSRS, R, SAS) to support analytical needs or Retail Banking Segment

What we’re looking for

  • 2 - 16 years of experience in Statistics/ MIS Reports.
  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics.
  • Knowledge of basic statistical analyses; knowledge in any of the following programming languages (Python, PySpark, R, SASm Anaconda, SQL, Hadoop, Pig, Hive) and other reporting tools like Excel, QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Data story telling skills, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, good interpersonal and communication skills (3) Able to generate accurate reports and able to provide relevant and actionable insights
