Recruitment Specialist III (Officer level)

As a Recruitment Specialist III, you will collaborate and share knowledge across Telus Digital Philippines. You will build good relationships with key stakeholders, maintain a positive 'can-do' attitude, and be persistent in delivering a world-class service.
The key focus is to execute recruitment strategies and aim to hire top IT resources and timely filling of job requisitions. You will work closely with the key stakeholders to provide input into sourcing strategy and real-time feedback to the current IT talent market.
- Perform the full cycle of recruitment process not limited to; planning/identifying, sourcing, recruiting/qualifying and closing
- Provide market research (rates, candidates, Etc.) - eyes and ears of the IT talent market.
- Worked hand in hand with the hiring managers/clients to identify top IT resource for their need.
- Provide insightful recommendation about the talent availability and suggest suitable job description
- Formulate strategic sourcing for IT Professionals E.G Software Developer, DBAs, Infrastructure Engineer, Project Managers and others
- Extensive utilization of Linkedin.com or other social media (facebook and twitter, etc.), job boards (Jobstreet.com, Monster.com, others), other digital platform and non-digital channels
- Prepare pre – qualifying questions in order to assess potential candidates skills
- Conduct thorough telephone interviews; negotiation of rate, candidate’s availability (interview, start date) and travel/commute.
- Coordinate with the client/hiring managers for the interview information and schedule candidate for an interview (phone/virtual, In – Person)
- Making sure the candidates are well prepared during the interview.
- Responsible for job offer, processing of paper documents and 1st day instruction
- Develop and maintain good relationship with candidates, clients and 3rd party vendors.
Qualifications:
- Three (3) to Four (4) years of work experience in recruitment/head-hunting or sourcing preferably within the BPO/ITO industry. Exposure to customer service, sales, or any labor-intensive industry is a plus. Knowledge of various recruitment strategies, sourcing approaches and knowledge of recruitment principles, processes, and best practices.
- Proficient in face to face behavioral interviews. General / basic knowledge of other Human Resources areas and principles (i.e. Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations).
- General / basic knowledge of IT/ BPO industry talents, operations and organization. Proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel).
