Job Description

  • Plan and oversee daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly budget for Shopee Logistics team
  • Create new and standardize ongoing logistics budget reports
  • Run adhoc analyses to identify root cause of issues identified driving deviation of key performance metrics from targets
  • Monitor reports on key logistics budget performance metrics and communicate insights to internal stakeholders and senior management
  • Liaise with local budget team for monthly and quarterly budget submissions
  • Monitor pricing matrix vs. competitors and suggest rate changes to keep Shopee's competitive advantage
  • Manages Logistics P&L and makes recommendation on further improving and keeping metrics within targets
  • Identify key regions for shipping fee optimizations, including but not limited to 3PL allocation optimization and identifying opportunities for rates negotiation
  • Works on pricing studies taking into account the competitiveness of Shopee's fees and the operational feasibility of the recommendations

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Audit, Financial Planning, Budget Management, or similar role
  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus, but is not required
  • Professional certification/license such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus
  • Outstanding critical-thinking, highly meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Strong grasp of numbers and proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Has the ability to coordinate with several teams and interact with senior management
