Job Description
- Plan and oversee daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly budget for Shopee Logistics team
- Create new and standardize ongoing logistics budget reports
- Run adhoc analyses to identify root cause of issues identified driving deviation of key performance metrics from targets
- Monitor reports on key logistics budget performance metrics and communicate insights to internal stakeholders and senior management
- Liaise with local budget team for monthly and quarterly budget submissions
- Monitor pricing matrix vs. competitors and suggest rate changes to keep Shopee's competitive advantage
- Manages Logistics P&L and makes recommendation on further improving and keeping metrics within targets
- Identify key regions for shipping fee optimizations, including but not limited to 3PL allocation optimization and identifying opportunities for rates negotiation
- Works on pricing studies taking into account the competitiveness of Shopee's fees and the operational feasibility of the recommendations
- Minimum 2 years experience in Audit, Financial Planning, Budget Management, or similar role
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus, but is not required
- Professional certification/license such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus
- Outstanding critical-thinking, highly meticulous and detail-oriented
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Strong grasp of numbers and proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and collaboration skills. Has the ability to coordinate with several teams and interact with senior management
