Senior Magento Developer (Magento 2) - Pasay | Onsite 2-4 days/month

Role Overview

The role involves architecting and implementing complex feature enhancements for open-source software. Key responsibilities include:

• Development Planning: Creating development approaches based on requirements and wireframes.
• Team Management: Breaking down tasks for Junior Developers and reviewing their code to ensure quality while helping them improve.
• Output Responsibility: Ensuring the quality and timeliness of a small development team's work.
• Communication: Collaborating with project managers and business analysts to clarify user stories and maintain proper documentation in JIRA.
• Configuration Maximization: Utilizing software features to minimize the need for custom development.
• Solution Creation: Developing features and modules as per client specifications and creating reusable code libraries.
• Security Maintenance: Keeping personal equipment free from security issues.
• Team Participation: Actively contributing to team meetings and suggesting improvements.
• Collaboration: Working with team members on large projects to maintain a consistent approach.
• Time Management: Accurately recording time spent on tasks for billing purposes.
• Documentation: Writing clear code documentation to ensure comprehensibility for other developers, adhering to Clean Code practices.
  
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Education: College Graduate.
• Experience:
• At least 5 years of programming experience.
• At least 3 years of recent experience with Magento 2.
• Technical Skills:
• Mastery of object-oriented programming in PHP.
• Proficient in HTML DOM, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce concepts, including payment systems, shipping, and catalog structure.
• Mastery of REST APIs and Git, including code repositories.
• Good understanding of compiled CSS.
• Communication: Effective written and spoken English.
• Flexibility: Willing to work night shifts and a hybrid schedule (2-4 times per month) in Pasay.
