Our software team is currently working on both a long-standing project and its revamp, focusing on creating high-quality, user-centred applications that streamline our service offerings.

The Role

The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software solutions. Working closely with business analysts (BAs) and the development team, you will help define and implement non-programmatic testing frameworks, create and maintain test plans, and execute hands-on testing. This role will grow over time, with opportunities to lead the QA function as the team expands.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analyst and Business SME’s to create and update user workflows
• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform manual testing, ensuring all software releases meet quality standards
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working with developers to resolve issues
• Contribute to improving the overall software quality assurance process
• Provide feedback on software usability, functionality, and performance
• Participate in project meetings and provide QA updates
• Work with senior QA Officer to get keep turn around times on QA assurance work down

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
• Experience in Selenium or Cypress
• Familiarity with test planning, case creation, and manual testing
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  
  

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 7am-4pm PH Time
  
  

Work Location:

• Homebased ; Should have a strong internet connection (minimum of 20 MBPS); Equipment is provided
