As a Full-Cycle Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the entire accounting cycle, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
•General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and international accounting standards.
•Accounts Payable: Process invoices, ensure timely payments, and manage vendor relationships. Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.
•Accounts Receivable: Oversee the billing process, track outstanding invoices, and manage collections. Perform reconciliations and ensure timely recording of revenue.
•Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
•Month-End and Year-End Closings: Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
•Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist in internal and external audits as required.
Requirements:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a multinational corporation or a similar fast-paced environment. Experience with sports event financial management is highly desirable
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in Xero accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
•Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
•Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
