The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, manuals, references, or instructions. This candidate should have strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new manuals, templates, and boilerplates
- Evaluate information to be presented and design models for documentation
- Revise and update existing manuals in terms of scope, format, and content
- Ensure accurate and consistent terminology, style, grammar, and format
- Write with content reuse in mind
- Monitor milestones and track deliverables
- Liaise with the marketing team, engineering team, regulatory team, and other subject matter experts
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Relevant experience for three years, preferably in consumer goods
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and content architecture
- Familiarity with style guides and regulatory standards
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, conceptual, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work quickly and efficiently within short time frames
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work through ambiguity
- Ability to effectively communicate subtle nuances to non-English speakers
- Ability to work with both local and global teams
- Strong time management and planning skills
- A good-natured, cheery disposition
