• Ensure adequate budget and perform expense control of After Sales Business – takes care of the budgeting and forecasting requirements of the After Sales department
• Provides analysis and advice on business operations including the revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments – Management Accounting reports and performance reports
• Develop and supports the commercial and financial inputs and approach in pricing, sales, costs, margin, charging mechanisms, commercial contract terms, cash flow and other key performance indicators
• Structures commercial deals to meet NPI business objectives and business needs through pricing actions and After Sales programs
• Identify additional growth and profit opportunities in collaboration with the Vehicle Marketing and Sales After Sales and Quality Division team
• Evaluate investment proposal – particularly for warehousing, logistics and fixed marketing expenditures
• Supports accounting for actual transactions on month end, quarter end and year end performances, including but not limited to accrual/reserves and parts inventory accounting
• Reviews and analyses actual performance against budget and forecast, assess variances and reports results to After Sales and Finance Management
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial performance for After Sales, internal controls and approvals are in place
• Related business areas beyond Finance practices such as immersions, cost of ownership studies and other extended service business
• Revenue Analysis of Service Parts business by model and after sales service performance from dealers
• Establish pricing ensuring appropriate margins are applied and costing of service parts in the system
• Supports accounting reserves for warranty and evaluate main drivers such as car in operations, warranty spending and technical service actions
• Ad-hoc reports and projects related to financial planning matter and other task which may be asked by Commercial Finance Senior Manager, GM-Finance and GM-After Sales.
• Other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
