Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for Purchasing Buyer to join our Purchasing Department based in Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines.
The Purchasing Buyer is a member of the Local Parts Section that ensures materials needed are bought into the company, in the right volume and at the right time, to meet the company's requirements and conducts research to identify reliable suppliers and coordinate requests for bids and awarding supply contracts.
In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in sourcing and coordinating with suppliers, cost assessment and price review.
Your role and responsibilities:
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Your role and responsibilities:
- Conducts sourcing and price review of new mobility requirements and accessories based on competitive price and on-time delivery
- Evaluates new supplier and conducts financial risk and cost management
- Supply base and commodity expansion
- Coordinates with Regional Office (TDEM) and other affiliates
- Facilitate biddings and price negotiations
- You have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- You interact with others in a way that gives them confidence in one's intentions and those of the organization.
- You can effectively explore alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties.

Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Background in SAP is an advantage
