The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience with video editing software, social media trends and best practices. Knowledge and experience with online video recording platforms like Zoom and Riverside.

Summary
The Video Editor is responsible for editing and creating engaging and visually appealing video content for the company's social media channels. Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for YouTube, social media platforms, and internal use, ensuring content aligns with the company's professional standards and brand voice
- Produce engaging and visually appealing video content for the company's social media channels
- Ensure the visual brand of the company is consistent across all video content
- Engageinvisual storytelling and explore new ways to present information
- Trim footage segments and assemble sequences that effectively communicate complex financial information
- Incorporate music, graphics, and effects to enhance video quality and viewer engagement
- Create rough and final cuts, paying close attention to detail and maintaining the company's reputation for accuracy
- Stay updated on and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to keep the company at the forefront of financial video content
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skills in YouTube videos, social media content, and internal communications
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Solid understanding of sound editing to enhance video quality
- Strong technical skills coupled with a very strong ability to visually tell a story
- Aware and on top of media trends or new methods to engage an audience
- Flexible, able to collaborate and work with different types of personalities
- Able to multitask and juggle multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling financial data and market information
- Experience working in fast-paced environments, particularly in news or financial media
- Familiarity with motion graphics, and compositing to create compelling data visualizations
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for video content; YouTube knowledge is a plus
