What You’ll Do

Looking for an opportunity to support the employee experience? The Senior Benefits Analyst will play a crucial role in managing various aspects of benefits administration, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while providing exceptional support to employees.

You'll report to the Senior Manager for Benefits. The Senior Benefits Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our benefits administration, fostering employee satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory requirements, and ultimately contributing to the overall success and well-being of our organization.

During a Typical Day, You’ll:

  • AskNow Tickets Management: Handling and resolving Tier 2 escalations and inquiries through the AskNow ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Qualifying Life Events (QLE) Process: Managing the process for qualifying life events, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
  • Monthly Data Audits: Conduct monthly audits of Alight data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Claims Management: Handling death claims and providing support for disability-related questions and contacts.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Staying up-to-date with Colorado state wage regulations, generating Oracle reports, and preparing headcount reports.
  • Government Programs: Overseeing State CHIP and HIPP programs, ensuring compliance and timely submissions.
  • Legal Compliance: Handling legal requests, documentation, and information related to benefits administration, as well as managing employee appeals.
  • Annual Notices and Filings: Managing the distribution of annual mandatory notices and Med D notices, as well as ensuring timely filings.
  • Meetings and Reconciliation: Participating in PCSS quarterly meetings, conducting HSA biweekly reconciliations, and auditing HSA/FSA accounts to ensure compliance with maximum limits.
  • Employee Departures: Managing the removal of benefits elements for termed employees.
  • Document Management: Maintaining documentation including SOPs, FAQs, notifications, contact lists, and vendor lists.

What You Bring to the Role

  • At least three years of experience in benefits administration in the United States or with a strong understanding of US benefits regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to employee benefits in the United States.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Oracle or similar HRIS software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
