Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their shipping needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Carrier Coordination: Source and negotiate with carriers to secure competitive rates and reliable service.
- Load Management: Oversee the entire shipping process, including dispatching, tracking, and resolving any issues that arise during transit.
- Sales and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and maintain a pipeline of potential clients. Actively promote services to expand the client base.
- Data Analysis: Monitor key performance metrics and analyze data to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all shipments comply with regulations and maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and communications.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or disputes that arise with clients or carriers promptly and professionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- 2 years of proven experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
