Job Description
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring the plant's mechanical system and its auxiliaries are performing in their optimum operating capacity by performing preventive maintenance activities, corrective maintenance, and initiating plant performance improvements.
The Mechanical Technician contributes a critical role in the plant by ensuring all equipment in the plant is reliable, available and safe to use at all times.

Qualifications
Education:
- Mechanical engineering Graduate
- With at least 5 year experience working on mechanical equipment maintenance
- License mechanical engineer/ certified plant mechanic is an advantage but not required
Physical Effort:
- Moderate physical effort, working with moderate heavy weight (10 to 20kg)
- Occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements (ie, loud noise, ammonia hazard, slaughter and meat cutting relatedodors)
