BASIC PURPOSE
Processing of all SME Loan accounts (New/Renewal), including branch initiated (DBP/SECA), which includes the screening, packaging, implementing, servicing, and monitoring of SME loan accounts, in a manner consistent with established Bank policies, procedures, and required turnaround time.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that all SME Loan accounts (New/Renewal), including branch initiated (DBP/SECA) are processed within a required turnaround time
Pre-screens loan applications by conducting phone interviews with borrower to verify purpose of loan, viability of business, and borrower’s capacity to pay. Also ensures the authenticity and accuracy of all submitted documents.
Prepares account packages, recommendations, and offering sheets for review and endorsement by the Division Head, and disposition by approving bodies (Credit Committee or Executive Committee).
Reviews and evaluates declined and deferred accounts and, when appropriate, prepares justifications for possible reconsiderations.
