About Us:

We are a fast-growing e-commerce brand looking for a talented Shopify Developer to optimize our online storefront and maximize conversions. This role is ideal for someone with a mix of technical and creative skills, who understands the importance of CRO and can craft high-converting, visually appealing pages that enhance user experience. Key Responsibilities:

- Shopify Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain Shopify product pages, collections, and website functionality. Customize themes using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Product Page Optimization: Optimize product pages for conversions, ensuring layout, visuals, and user flow contribute to higher engagement and sales, as well as optimize email opt-in popup forms.

- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Conduct A/B testing on page elements, gather insights on customer behavior, and implement changes based on data to improve key metrics.

- Web Design: Design and update web pages with a strong focus on UX/UI principles, creating intuitive and visually compelling designs that align with our brand.

- SEO Implementation: Optimize pages for search engines, ensuring all on-page SEO elements are in place, including meta tags, keyword placement, and image alt tags.

Performance Analysis:

- Track and report key performance indicators using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Shopify Analytics to inform design and optimization decisions.

- Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team on promotional campaigns, product launches, and other growth initiatives to ensure consistent branding and messaging.

Requirements:

Shopify Expertise: Proven experience as a Shopify developer, skilled in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong portfolio of custom-built or optimized Shopify pages.

Conversion Rate Optimization: Experience running A/B tests, analyzing results, and implementing changes based on CRO principles.

UX/UI Design: Proficiency in web design with a strong understanding of user experience and user interface principles.

Analytical Skills: Proficient in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to evaluate performance and make data-informed decisions.

Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in testing, debugging, and ensuring high-quality page performance across devices.

SEO Knowledge: Familiar with on-page SEO best practices and able to implement SEO optimizations on Shopify.

Shopify Theme Customization: Knowledge of Liquid (Shopify’s templating language), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize and optimize themes.

Shopify Apps: Ability to integrate and configure popular Shopify apps to enhance functionality, such as reviews, email marketing, and upsell apps.

Shopify API: Experience working with Shopify’s APIs for custom development, integrations, or automation.

Store Setup: Proficiency in setting up products, collections, navigation, payment gateways, and configuring checkout processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with third-party CRO tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) and Shopify apps for conversion and performance optimization.
Knowledge of structured data, schema markup, and Shopify Plus (if applicable).
Background in graphic design or familiarity with design software like Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
