We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Back-End) to join our Manila Academic Technology Team. As a key member of our team, your goal will be to design, develop, and maintain back-end software solutions used in Academic publishing. This role will play an essential part in the support and development of Cambridge Core and its key content and platform applications.

- 3-5 years' experience in software development using Java (8+)
- Spring Framework, Spring Boot
- Maven or Gradle
- Git
- UNIX commands and scripting
- Database
- MongoDB
- MySQL
- AWS or other cloud computing platform
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Experience in solution design, data modelling, analysis, and documentation
- Experience using other programming languages: JavaScript (NodeJS) or Python
- Skills to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues in IT team, as well as non-technical users.
- Certifications on related technical field
- Redis
- Apache Camel or other orchestration/integration framework
- Event-driven programming
- OIDC, SAML
