Purpose:

The Account Coordinator enables the team to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver research programs in the most efficient way.

The primary responsibility is to provide day to day support to Client Servicing Teams across a range of programs to create meaningful impact on our client’s businesses. The role is highly facilitative in nature and requires focus, flexibility, and willingness to contribute behind-the-scenes actively. The ideal candidate will be handling a wide range of account support related tasks, will be exceedingly well organized and resourceful, and will enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a team of diverse people and programs. This position also requires communication and coordination with external clients with support from the Client Servicing team.

The Role:

Project Management

  • As the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline, you will be responsible for project setup, monitoring progress according to project plan and identifying potential risks and flagging them off to the project team in a timely manner to manage and adjust for changes
  • Take an active role in planning, co-ordinating and supervising client projects to ensure timely and flawless delivery.
  • Support the client servicing team by facilitating account and project documentation between global and local account teams.
  • Facilitate new business development by accurately completing RFQ forms and ensure timely receipt of quotes from Pricing department

Client Management

  • Liaising with clients on project related matters involving project inputs and meetings & presentation schedules
  • Demonstrate confidence and good interpersonal skills when responding to basic client queries and communicating monthly deliverables
  • Keep track & consolidate additional client requests with support from the team and ensure these are sent out as committed
  • Record client discussions
  • Send and track client satisfaction surveys

Finance administration and tracking

  • Ensure Finance processes are followed through:
  1. Client Contracts
  2. Purchase Orders
  3. Billing
  4. Updating Pricing Tool
  • Monitor costs throughout projects and flag to Project Team when project budget has exceeded
  • Maintaining and updating the pipeline and project dates in the finance system
  • Supporting the Team Leader on the detailed inputs to the mid-month forecasting system

Team resource and prioritization

  • Use tools to monitor projected workload and utilisation rates of team members each week to Team Lead
  • Identifying potential pinch points and escalating to Team Lead if resource is likely to be either constrained or under utilised

  • Proficient in computer application (Word, PowerPoint), particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of research methodologies and concepts is a definite advantage
