As such, the founding team will be composed of experienced and functionally agile management leading a team of dynamic and mission-driven individuals.

Role Overview

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for the successful implementation and execution of the procurement process, from sourcing suppliers, contractors, materials, tools, and softwares to negotiating contracts and managing relationships with various stakeholders. The role will also support in coordinating with AP stakeholders to leverage on spend and opportunities to deliver significant savings and efficient operational services. This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

  • Supplier/Contractor Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure the selection of reliable and cost-effective vendors.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing for goods and services. Creates and recommends high level terms and/or contract templates to utilize and drafts contracts based on the specifications, scope of work and risk analysis of the technical, legal, and commercial team. Review, analyze, and execute the renewal of agreement, re-negotiation or re-sourcing activities.
  • Coordination: Secure position of relevant stakeholders (insurance, logistics, finance, safety and environment teams, etc.) to ensure contracts and negotiation plans are well prepared.
  • Purchase Order Management: Generate purchase orders and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement strategies.Analyzes spend, market conditions and supplier profile to support sourcing, contracting, and negotiation strategies.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards, throughout the procurement process.
  • Risk Management: Conducts supply chain risk analysis to ensure continuity of supply and other identified supply chain risks are mitigated.
  • Vendor Management: Foster professional and good relationships with suppliers which includes resolving supplier, delivery, payment and other contractual issues. Support the implementation of vendor performance reviews.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities and provide regular reports on procurement performance to management.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in procurement of software, tools, labor and other related services, and construction materials specially solar materials
