Job Description
The Learning Associate – 601 is an intermediate-level trainer position reporting to a VP Faculty Manager III. This role supports the learning needs of various lines of business in Consumer & Community Banking and Home Lending. The focus is on training related to processes, products, services, systems, operations, policies and procedures, compliance/regulatory requirements, and sales and service skills for both new hires and existing employees. The Associate may be mentored by an experienced co-faculty member while learning new content and will deliver training to support specific line of business initiatives. Additionally, the Associate may be assigned stretch goals to participate in projects.
The Learning Associate – 601 will work independently or as part of a team to achieve departmental goals. The Associate may join project teams as needed and will actively pursue avenues to complete annual developmental goals. The Learning Associate will assist the Training Manager with daily operations and perform other duties as requested. In alignment with our vision of an Employee Obsessed, 'next in class' Learning Center of Excellence, which enables employees to reach their full potential by delivering a continuous One Chase learning experience, we have expanded the role to include expertise in deploying remote learning methodologies across sites and businesses. The Associate must be able to deliver training using various in-person and virtual modes and perform basic design work in partnership with Learning Solutions.

As Learning Facilitator
- Demonstrate the 5 Keys to a Great Customer Experience to participants and partners daily.
- Facilitate classroom and virtual training using the Instructor’s Guide approved by Legal and Compliance.
- Co-facilitate with a mentor while learning new training content.
- Lead small and large group discussions based on curriculum design, in both classroom and one-on-one settings.
- Assess participants' understanding and adjust delivery methods as needed. Respond quickly to learning needs.
- Collaborate with other trainers to co-facilitate classes seamlessly.
- Apply adult learning theory to adjust training methods for trainees with special needs.
- Exercise good judgment and make independent decisions when necessary.
- Craft appropriate and positive responses to audience questions.
- Prepare classroom materials and set up the room before class (e.g., tent cards, flip charts).
- Send pre- and post-class memos.
- Deliver material clearly, concisely, engagingly, and interactively.
- Learn and deliver various training methods within approved programs.
- Close rosters, restore the classroom to its original condition, and secure the training facility after class.
- Adapt training methods quickly based on time, participant needs, and audience assessment.
- Learn and deliver unfamiliar topics with minimal notice to meet business needs.
- Cross-train on multiple topics and be recognized as a content expert.
- Document and evaluate trainees' performance.
- Coach and counsel trainees on performance in class and through business observations.
- Assess trainees through testing and role-plays to ensure they meet program standards.
- Address performance concerns with line management and HR partners.
- Identify and suggest updates for training programs in collaboration with the Training Manager and development team.
- Complete expense reports, program evaluations, class rosters, and other required documentation.
- Prepare training reports at class completion and as required.
- Maintain inventory of training materials and supplies.
- Stay current and adapt to changes in course content, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in project teams to support department goals.
- Assist in designing and updating training curriculum to enhance learning experiences.
- Develop instructional materials and resources using basic design skills.
- Create e-learning modules with authoring tools and design software.
- Design visually appealing training materials, such as slides, infographics, and handouts.
- Customize training content to meet specific audience needs and learning styles.
- Incorporate feedback from trainers and participants to improve training materials.
- Explore and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance training delivery.
- Conduct pilot tests of new training programs and gather feedback for improvements.
- Analyze learning data to assess training program effectiveness and suggest enhancements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in end to end training facilitation or equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge on curriculum design, a plus
- Amenable to reporting onsite in Bonifacio Global City, following core US hours but flexible to adjust as business requires.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills.
- Flexible in adapting to and embracing change.
- Proficient in PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Connect, and SharePoint.
- Ability to travel as needed and flexibility with training dates.
- Strong in-classroom facilitation skills.
- Basic to intermediate virtual training and facilitation skills.
- Ability to assess participant learning styles and adapt delivery methods accordingly.
- Skilled in providing constructive feedback and effectively coaching participants during class.
- Capable of solving problems with minimal support.
- Demonstrates effective classroom management techniques, both in-person and virtually.
- Ability to solve problems and think creatively.
- Proficient in using technology and media appropriately.
- Able to troubleshoot classroom technology issues.
- Experience analyzing learning data to assess training program effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Experience assisting with the development or updating of training materials and curricula.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and methodologies, such as ADDIE or SAM.
- Experience participating in learning and development projects, contributing to design-related tasks.
- Familiarity with basic graphic design tools to create visually appealing training materials.
