ROLE SUMMARY

Our client, a data-centric recruitment marketing agency, is looking for a (Data) Analytics Engineer who will be responsible for bringing the company’s data models to life by creating scalable, efficient solutions. You will lead the analytics engineering efforts, collaborating with product and data engineering teams to transform data into powerful insights.

As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for owning, developing, and optimizing production data models. You’ll partner with stakeholders to understand evolving business needs, design creative solutions, and ensure data models are robust and performant. You will also oversee the development of DBT code and ensure high-quality data is delivered across the organization.

WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Own and manage production data models that support the company’s analytics and reporting needs
  • Collaborate with business and product teams to evaluate and anticipate data model needs, providing scalable, generic solutions
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to develop, monitor, and optimize data models and pipelines
  • Design and develop DBT codes, ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable code for data transformations
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s data pipeline, from ingestion to final data models
  • Approve and oversee changes to data models and be the code owner for production databases and data schemas
  • Provide data modeling expertise to other teams through code reviews, mentorship, and hands-on collaboration
  • Ensure data quality by optimizing database designs, enforcing best practices, and identifying opportunities for improvement

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a data analytics or data engineering role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries and debug performance issues
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift and DBT for data modeling and transformations.
  • Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language for data manipulation and scripting
  • Experience with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with NoSQL or Search Databases is a bonus
  • Experience with Databricks is a bonus
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for
  • non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable data solutions
  • Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA and data privacy regulations is a plus
