Our client is a leading corporation within the Philippine Power Generation Sector with a large Fleet of Renewable Energy Assets comprising Wind and Solar PV Plants. With the expected growth in demand for Electricity in the Philippines, and their desire to reduce Carbon Emissions, they seek a Project Development Manager experienced in the field of Renewable Energy Projects focused on Onshore Wind to join their Development Team.

Reporting to the VP Project Development, the role of AVP – Wind Energy Projects will be keenly focused on Onshore Wind Opportunities within the Philippines and SE Asia. This is a challenging opportunity that will draw upon your solid mix of Technical and Commercial experiences to provide leadership within the corporation in this field. Your breadth of responsibility will range from concept development through to the development of an approved Business Investment Case.

The ideal candidate will most likely possess a mix of Engineering and Finance/Commercial qualifications which have supported their technical and commercial acumen in the development of successful projects within this field. This experience will include an understanding of Land acquisition, permitting, stakeholder management, Financial Modelling, Power Purchase Agreements, Engineering Studies, Wind Resource Studies, Regulatory Compliance etc…
