Job Summary:
The Underwriter will be responsible for auditing member files to ensure completeness, consistency, and strategic alignment. This role includes reviewing business plans, analyzing financial statements, identifying gaps or issues, and coordinating with advisors to resolve discrepancies. The Underwriter will play a key role in quality assurance, ensuring that business goals are met, and potential risks are flagged proactively.
Key Responsibilities:
• File Auditing: Conduct in-depth reviews of member files to ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.
• Business Plan Review: Analyze business plans to assess their feasibility, coherence, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Financial Analysis: Evaluate financial statements to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas of concern.
• Coordination: Collaborate with appointed internal staff to gather missing information and address identified issues.
• Red Flag Reporting: Provide detailed reports highlighting critical risks or inconsistencies within member files.
• Organized Documentation: Maintain structured records of all reviews, feedback, and follow-up actions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Technical proficiency and ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
