As a Marketing and Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and identifying new business opportunities. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to start a career in sales and marketing-driven business development. You will engage in lead generation by contacting and developing relationships with prospective customers, while collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on outreach strategies. Your primary focus will be to creatively prospect for new opportunities, educate prospects, and develop leads through sales and marketing efforts to ultimately secure meetings with potential customers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition into a sales role, ideally within the first year of employment. That sales role may be an inside or outside customer facing position, depending upon progression of the candidate. Greater compensation above salary, in the form of bonus or commissions are applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Identify Potential Clients: Conduct market research to find prospects based on target segments
Outbound Prospecting: Execute cold calling, email outreach, and leverage marketing content to identify leads
Communicate Value Proposition: Articulate RCH’s offerings, aligning messaging with current marketing initiatives
Collaborate with Marketing: Support content creation and distribution across digital channels, including social media platforms, email marketing, and website
Support Lead Generation Campaigns: Support marketing campaign ideation, creation, execution and analysis
CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales and marketing activities to track lead engagement
Achieve Monthly Quotas: Meet targets for qualified meetings and opportunities, supporting both sales and marketing goals
Nurture Client Relationships: Build and foster relationships with potential clients and other key stakeholders
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Self-Starter
Effective Time Management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of B2B sales processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to learn and adapt to new technology platforms quickly
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets
Preferred Qualifications
Some understanding or interest in Life Sciences, Biotechs and Pharmaceuticals
Previous internship experience in sales or customer service
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Active Campaign, etc.)
Familiarity with marketing systems and platforms (LinkedIn, Loomly, Wordpress, Active Campaign Email , etc.)
Basic understanding of IT services and solutions
Knowledge of sales prospecting tools
