Junior Ad Ops - Campaign Manager

As a Junior Ad Ops Campaign Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing Google ad campaigns, particularly YouTube advertising campaigns. You will work closely with the Ad Operations team to ensure smooth campaign execution and achieve client objectives.

You’re passionate about learning even more about video marketing offerings, digital media, and the capabilities of YouTube and off-YouTube platforms.

Key tasks will include:

Assist Campaign Managers with the following tasks:

  • Create and manage YouTube advertising campaigns, including setting up targeting parameters, budgets, and bidding strategies.
  • Monitoring campaign pacing and KPI performance and conducting ongoing discussions with relevant internal team members and clients; proactively addressing any issues.
  • Developing and implementing advertising schedules and making adjustments as needed based on performance data.
  • Provide ongoing campaign management ensuring optimal performance and delivery, constantly exceeding KPI goals.
  • Staying proactive in your work with clients, always one step ahead
  • Respond with urgency to general requests using your understanding of all internal systems
  • Generating thorough campaign reports that address overall metrics, wins, and insights.
  • Supporting Account Managers with daily tasks such as account creation, campaign ID creation, pricing requests, and providing insights and recommendations
  • Assist the team in conducting placement reports to ensure relevant placements are met across campaigns.
  • Assist the team in doing QA of the campaign setups to ensure all items are covered in the campaigns
  • Effectively work alongside fellow team members, 3rd party vendors, and clients to launch and optimize campaigns
  • Communicate new product updates/features and value to internal teams
  • Keep up to date with the evolving digital ecosystem and relevant industry/platform changes that may have an impact to your buying strategy on campaigns

Skills required:

  • 6 months - 1 year of handling Google Ads, particularly YouTube buying and execution
  • Strong understanding of YouTube's advertising platform and targeting options
  • Proficiency in Google Ads and other relevant advertising tools
  • Profound interest in data and have a strong analytical skillset
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and drive to test creative buying techniques
  • Can manage and prioritize multiple campaigns across different time zones, platforms, and ad formats
  • Knowledge of Excel calculations, pivot tables, and graphs
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills in person, on the phone, or virtually
  • A creative and solution-oriented individual who can also be resourceful
  • A self-directed professional who understands company needs and operates with a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented professional
  • A collaborative individual who can work both in a team and independently
