About The Role:

As the Retail Partnerships Manager for Philippines, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with retail businesses across the country. You will play a crucial role in expanding Modcart's market presence, driving sales growth, and ensuring successful implementation of our solutions in partnership with retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development: Identify and establish relationships with key Modern Trade & General Trade retail partners in Philippines to expand Modcart's market presence
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute partnership strategies that align with Modcart's business objectives and growth targets
  • Sales Management: Drive sales growth by promoting Modcart's AI solutions to potential retail partners and managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
  • Account Management: Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing partners to ensure their needs are met and to identify opportunities for further collaboration
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to inform partnership strategies
  • Promotion and Engagement: Work with partners to design and implement promotional campaigns that drive customer engagement and sales
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of partnerships, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Modcart's internal teams, including marketing, product development, and ad ops support, to ensure successful implementation and support of partnership initiatives


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail partnership management, business development, or sales within the retail or CPG / FMCG sector
  • Knowledge: A solid comprehension of the retail sector in Philippines is essential. Additionally, a strong relationship with both large and medium-sized retail chains throughout the country is required
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and interpret market data
  • Language: Proficiency in Filipino and English
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
