Job Summary:
The Accounting Assistant plays a crucial role in providing administrative and accounting support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role involves handling a variety of tasks including bookkeeping, office management, data entry, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing correspondence.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Assist in preparing documents, presentations, and reports for meetings.
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications in a professional manner.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and appointments for management and staff.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.
- Perform data entry of financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and spreadsheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions and administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- With at least 6 months to 1 year work experience in the same field.
- Knowledgeable in Bookkeeping.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Open to Fresh Graduates.
- Willing to work in Mandaluyong.
- Can start ASAP.
