Key Responsibilities:
Core responsibilities are to:
- Ensure ISCA Philippines operates in full compliance with local laws and regulations
- Develop and execute win-win collaborations with strategic and commercial partners, in support of ISCA’s and its members’ interests
- Keep ISCA Philippines running efficiently to meet key performance indicators
You will do so, via the following:
Relationship building
- Nurture strategic relationships with important stakeholders eg. government agencies such as the local national accountancy body, SG-Philippines Chamber, Associations with Directors as members, top 5 universities which Accountancy programmes are delivered in English, etc.
- Network and/or source for commercial entities owned by Singaporeans or Singapore linked companies.
- Network and/or source for Large MNCs with finance teams which exceed >30 staff.
- Network and/or source for Big4 and large mid-tier firms with staff who can learn CPD courses in English.
- Onboard ATOs to support SCAQ students
- Link up cases of University module exemptions with SCAQ Team
Operational Support
- Trip coordination – ensure incoming trips are properly planned and executed, by preparing travel documentation such as financial budgets and purchase requisition forms; making bookings for flights, transport, and accommodation; scheduling meetings; sourcing and preparing corporate gifts
- Event support – provide support for the planning, design, and full execution of events such as seminars, workshops, and/or booth exhibitions, in such functions as local procurement; venue setup; registration, emcee, and post-event closing duties
- Sales support – organize meetings and ensure that meeting notes are documented for timely follow-ups
- Build Boardflix local content in the Phillippines by local partners.
Lead Generation and Conversion
Lead generation and prospecting –
- develop and implement strategies to attract new leads, including cold calling, emailing, networking, as well as co/organizing events with in-market partners to also profile the ISCA brand and products
- identify and research potential clients through various channels including online databases, industry events, social media, and referrals
- maintain and update the shared system with accurate and current information on prospects and leads (i.e. Reporting on progress,)
Sales presentations and relationship building -
- conduct needs assessments to understand the specific training requirements of potential clients and tailor presentations accordingly
- deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value and benefits of the training programs
- Sell BOD Masterclass and ISCAccountify
Lead conversion -
- negotiate terms and close sales deals with clients (B2B and B2C), ensuring that all contractual agreements are met and understood by both parties
- follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional training programs
- meet and exceed sales targets and quotas, regularly reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and conversion rates to management
- Explore membership pathways with the local national accountancy body
Job Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Excellent presentation skills, communication skills (written and oral)
- Bachelor’s degree
- 12 to 15 years of proven experience as a Project Manager and Business Development or similar roles
- Experience in working with government agencies is a plus
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of financial processes and documentation.
- Proficiency in O365 tools
- Independent worker with the ability to also collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Positive mindset, unfailing resilience, and ability to learn quickly
- Comfortable working with targets
