RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews policies and recommends policy revisions/improvements affecting compensation and benefits.
  • Conducts research, industry surveys and special studies on compensation, benefits, incentive schemes, special separation programs, etc. and formulates necessary recommendations, coordinates administration/implementation of approved programs based on Senior Management approval.
  • Participates in the evaluation of integration/spin-off/consolidation/merger issues to ensure smooth alignment within the organization.
  • Oversees and coordinates with line on the efficient and timely processing of promotions.
  • Recommends new systems and procedures to ensure the smooth and timely processing of transactions.
  • Conducts evaluation of appropriate salary adjustments due to promotions and ensures accurate implementation of approved promotional adjustments prior to Payroll processing.
  • Prepares compensation reports to provide Management with data required in decision making
  • Participates in the development and administration of employee compensation programs such as annual Performance Level Ranking/ Metric increase, Performance Bonus, CBA, Stock Programs and the like.
  • Evaluates the creation of new and revisions of existing job plans and prepares appropriate recommendations to establish proper equity relationships among jobs.
  • Prepares Hiring Package Analysis (HPA) to ensure competitiveness of pay and internal equity.
  • Prepares compensation/management reports and presentation materials for the PERCOM/EXCOM.
  • Coordinates with Labor Relations/Legal Counsel for the correct interpretation of legislated increases and provides Management with the analysis of these increases to ensure proper compliance.
  • Prepares recommendation and administers HR-related programs for overseas personnel (expats and local hires) such as salary increases and contract renewal/ extension.
  • Develops package for normal retiree-extendees and assists in the administrations of the terms and conditions of employment.
  • Supervises and motivates staff to obtain acceptable level of productivity.
