JOB SUMMARY:

The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the online sales channels, ensuring seamless and engaging customer experience. This role requires a deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and data analytics. He/she will work closely with various departments, including Merchandising, Sales, and IT, to drive online sales growth and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 3 years proven experience in handling e-commerce of a business or working within an e-commerce platform.
  • Experience in digital marketing is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the e-commerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, and industry trends.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage e-commerce websites: Overseeing e-commerce websites and ensuring they function correctly. Developing, monitoring, writing and updating product content contained on eCommerce websites/portals.
  • Create marketing strategies: Develop marketing strategies to advertise e-commerce websites and products to potential users and buyers. Create innovative strategies to increase sales and drive more traffic to e-commerce websites for your clients.
  • Research trends: Research trends to increase digital sales and track data e-commerce website. Look into current marketing trends and apply them to optimize website.
  • Write e-commerce website copy: Describe the product or service to provide details to the buyers. Crafting thoughtful, engaging copy on an e-commerce site may encourage users to buy a product. Listings should include keywords, ensuring that the e-commerce website will appear for users searching for the product.
