About the Role
We’re seeking a QA Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software products. In this role, you’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure that the digital platform is intuitive, functional, and meets the needs of our users. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring our software maintains a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
Manual & Automated Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
Bug Identification: Identify, track, and document bugs using appropriate tools, ensuring clear communication of issues to the development team.
API Testing: Collaborate with backend engineers to test APIs, ensuring robust integrations with frontend components.
Test Automation: Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
Quality Assurance: Advocate for quality assurance best practices within the team, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards.
Required Skills and Experience
Manual Testing: Experience with manual testing, including writing and executing test cases.
Automation: Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
API Testing: Experience testing RESTful APIs and working with tools like Postman or Swagger.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Detail-Oriented: A strong eye for detail, ensuring thoroughness in identifying potential issues.
Desirable Skills
CI/CD Knowledge: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Test Frameworks: Familiarity with Jest or other JavaScript-based testing frameworks.
Agile Methodology: Understanding of agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
