Billing analysts work in a company's accounting department and ensure that clients are billed correctly. They correspond with clients, issue invoices, and oversee the company's revenue intake.
The billing analyst is also responsible for invoicing the client and is able to communicate about the invoice and discrepancies.
This is a hybrid position at The Foundry, BGC, Taguig City (at least 2 days a month onsite)
What does a day in the life of a Billing Analyst look like?
- Prepare daily customer billing
- Participate in month-end close and quarter-end activities
- Participate in the annual audit
- Process improvement identification and implementation
- Miscellaneous projects as necessary
What are the required qualifications of a Billing Analyst?
- Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- 2+ years working in finance accounting or billing support or analyst role. You are detail-oriented and understand the billing process, activities, and, cycles. Ability to identify process inefficiencies & drive scalable change(s) as needed.
- Experience with NetSuite
- Prior Billing experience with a SaaS company
- Adept in analyzing and processing financial data, related to customer billing, order forms, etc.
- Excellent skills in data analysis, computation, reconciliation, and research for validations.
- Preparing accounting and other required reports and projections based on the analysis performed.
- Coordinating with other members of the finance team when required to review financial information and forecasts.
- Excellent communication skills and inter-team communication and collaboration skills.
- May expect to perform financial reports, analysis, and reconciliation inventory.
- The ideal candidate has an advanced understanding of how to understand a large data set and the impact that data has on the overall health of the company.
- The Billing Analyst is expected to be confident, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and able to define and provide a high level of data accuracy through defined processes and investigation.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Advanced understanding of data and its significance to business operations
- Ability to communicate complex topics with users at all levels of financial expertise.
- Analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving expertise
- Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate business issues.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and business requirements.
- Preferably can start ASAP
- Willing to work on a night shift
