JOB SUMMARY

The Group Account Director oversees Account Managers/Directors by identifying business opportunities

and developing strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets. He or she is also responsible for building

strong customer relationship with clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grows the business by analyzing market trends specific to company’s services to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensures sales targets are achieved by the business unit on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for new business acquisition and existing accounts.
  • Monitors sales transactions from the initial up to the closing stage of the sales process.
  • Monitors progress of projects for all brands that are being serviced by the team.
  • Conducts business review meetings with Account Managers/Directors to monitor sales performance of previous month and develop plan of action for the following month.
  • Conducts accompanied sales calls with Account Managers/Directors.
  • Enhance the department and organization’s reputation by fulfilling client’s various requests.
  • Assists in the preparation of the comprehensive Cost Estimate (CE) and Profit and Loss (PNL) of all accounts.
  • Ensures timely collection of completed projects.
  • Ensures that all company marketing collaterals needed for business presentations are complete, accurate and according to the needs of prospective client.
  • Nurtures the client’s brands by understanding the nature of the business and by developing plans on how to improve the brands through marketing activities.
  • Keeps track and monitors project deliverables and timelines. Ensures that progress is made in accordance with the desired outcome of the projects.
  • Ensures that client feedback is documented and being solicited for every accomplished project. Discusses with Account Managers/Directors on a monthly basis for sharing of best practices and for further improvements
  • Controls and monitors all projects following internal work processes.
  • Ensures effective communication of set goals and expectations for the year.
  • Encourages, motivates and trains team members to increase job performance and growth of the company.
  • Provides status reports of prospective and on-going projects to the Department Head (Accounts).
  • Provides bi-monthly reports of actual sales achievement and strategies to meet sales targets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Advertising, Communication Arts, Business Management, Marketing Management and allied courses.
  • Must have at least gained five (5) years solid work experience gained from advertising agencies
  • Must have led a team that implemented at least five (5) successful brand campaigns that resulted in significant sales volume
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be presentable and must have a pleasing personality
  • Must be analytical, numerate, good in research and reports writing
  • Must be good in the preparation of cost estimates, sales reporting and in conducting pre and post project evaluations
  • Must be knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and a good team player.
  • Must be organized and have good time management skills
