The Project Manager role is part of the Professional Services team within the APAC region. The primary goal of Professional Services is to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions to clients. This includes supporting the successful and efficient implementation of the organization’s solutions at client locations.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role of Project Manager / Team Lead is to be the first point of contact within the implementation of the organisation’s solutions in the APAC Region. Specifically, the following required tasks are required:
- Planning: Working with clients and stakeholders to define the project's scope and goals, and creating a process to achieve them
- Team management: Assembling and leading a team to meet client expectations
- Budget management: Ensuring the project stays within budget
- Issue and Risk management: Identifying and managing any issues and risks associated with the project
- Communication: Communicating with stakeholders and team members
- Project evaluation: Evaluating the project's performance
- Quality management: Ensuring the project is delivered to the right standard
- Change management: Dealing with any changes to the project as needed
- Governance: Adhering to the company’s project management and governance framework
QUALIFICATIONS
Education (Essential)
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Or bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Economics
Experience and Knowledge (Essential):
- 10+ years’ overall experience
- Relevant experience managing project implementations in the financial sector
- Good Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Demonstrated experience in customer facing roles
- Fluency in English, written and oral Highly regarded
- Experience in banking finance and accounting processes, Regulatory Reporting, General Ledger, IAS/IFRS, ALM, FTP, Basel, or any type of financial risk management
- Experience in Data Warehousing and Data Integration (ETL) project implementations
- Project Management Certifications (PMP, Prince 2)
- Financial or Risk Management professional certification
- Certinia Professional Services Automation (PSA) experience
