Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our logistics company. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, developing effective marketing strategies, and driving sales growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our clients' logistics needs are met with tailored solutions that align with our company’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
Identify and target new clients in the logistics industry, focusing on expanding the company’s client base.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand and meet their logistics needs.
Conduct regular sales meetings, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients, showcasing our logistics solutions.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through focused sales strategies.
Market Research & Strategy:
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape within the logistics industry.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote services, increase brand awareness, and drive lead generation.
Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
Campaigns & Content Creation:
Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, email marketing, and social media.
Create engaging content that highlights our logistics solutions, services, and value propositions.
Collaborate with design and content teams to produce promotional materials, newsletters, case studies, and other marketing assets.
Client Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries, providing timely and accurate information on service offerings and solutions.
Address client feedback, ensure client satisfaction, and foster long-term client relationships.
Work with operations teams to ensure the seamless delivery of logistics services, addressing client-specific requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Logistics, or related field.
Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry.
Strong understanding of logistics services, including warehousing, freight forwarding, and distribution.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing tools is preferred.
