Job Description:
As an Audit Specialist, you will be responsible for managing critical audit documentation and facilitating cross-departmental coordination to ensure audit processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve preparing schedules, organizing files, and proactively engaging with teams to maintain accurate and accessible records.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Management: Prepare, organize, and maintain audit schedules, pulling necessary files and importing documents into required systems to support audit processes.
PBC List Coordination: Oversee Prepared by Client (PBC) lists, ensuring requested documents are tracked and delivered on time by coordinating with relevant teams.
Accuracy and Quality Control: Review all audit documentation thoroughly for accuracy and completeness, organizing files for easy access and audit readiness.
Research and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies, following up to gather missing or unclear information.
Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with various departments, reaching out via email and other channels to request, confirm, and clarify required information.
Audit Support Documentation: Prepare schedules, reports, and supporting documents needed for audit compliance and internal control procedures.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in audit support, auditing, or a related role within a high-volume corporate environment
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Familiarity with box.com and Google Drive; NetSuite experience is preferred but not required
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to tackle complex financial challenges with precision.
Meticulous approach to work, ensuring all financial data is handled with the utmost accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet stringent deadlines, balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
