POSITION SUMMARY

Building Engineer provides management of all facility maintenance activities, consisting of periodic maintenance, repair of equipment, and support of building architectural, HVAC, electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical (preferred) / Mechanical Engineering
  2. Licensed Engineer (Required)
  3. At least 2 years of experience as a facilities engineer, building engineer, or in a similar role (preferably in office spaces)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on all building systems and equipment, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, elevators, and security systems.
  2. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and assess the building for potential safety hazards.
  3. Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
  4. Monitor building equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  5. Ensures facilities are in compliance with company ISO 9001 policies, regulations, and building codes.
  6. Responds to inquiries and requests by building tenants and resolving any problems or issues.
