The Consumer and Market Insights Manager leads the insights function, shaping business strategy by deeply understanding consumer behavior, market trends, and the competitive landscape. This role drives the organization’s data-informed decision-making, enabling marketing, product development, and corporate strategy to align with market needs and opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Designs, executes, and oversees consumer and market research studies, transforming complex data into clear, concise, and impactful insights that drive business decisions and long-term growth
- Shapes corporate strategy by providing deep market, consumer, and competitive insights, identifying key opportunities and emerging trends
- Oversees consumer research programs to deliver high-quality, actionable data that informs product development, marketing, and customer experience strategies
- Influences marketing and product initiatives through insights, improving targeting, messaging, and overall effectiveness
- Enhances the company’s competitive position by delivering timely market and competitive analysis that drives strategic differentiation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, social sciences, or a related field
- 8+ years in consumer insights, market research, or strategy roles, with at least three years in a leadership position
- Business acumen to understand and interpret business operations, market dynamics, and financial indicators to make data-driven insights that directly support strategic objectives
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis tools, and statistical software
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work cross-functionally, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
