About This Role
This role will support all aspects of data analytics & reporting requirements related to Operational needs, including Manufacturing, Customer Care, Clinical Operations and Revenue Cycle Management. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of curiosity, analytical mind set, a desire to move fast and do big things, and recommend possible solutions to analytical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Business Analytics team to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
- Gather, analyze and interpret data to help supported business units solve problems and allow for operational process improvements
- Use tools and techniques to develop and visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
- Data Cleaning and Validation: Ensure data quality by fixing errors, duplicates, and outliers while ensuring the accuracy of the data
- Process Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to streamline operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standardize workflows.
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets
- Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for datasets
- Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
- Proactively analyze data to address key questions for stakeholders and yourself, focusing on what drives business performance.
- Investigate and communicate which areas require improvement in efficiency and productivity
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics
- Three or more years of experience mining data as a data analyst
- Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
- Advanced Excel Skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools
- Proficiency in Tableau Ability to maintain confidentiality based on access to proprietary financial, operational and competitive information.
- Familiarity with data warehouse systems, specifically Snowflake, is a huge plus.
