The MPC Analyst shall provide assistance to the MPC Officer and Senior Analyst in monitoring the company’s budget performance/activities, sales and inventory plans in order to achieve the company’s financial objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
A. Business Analysis
- Assists the MPC Senior Analyst in reviewing the inventory requirement and proactively prevents shortages at the store locations
- Ensures that all sales reports are submitted with utmost accuracy
- Provides assistance to the MPC Senior Analyst in monitoring inventory and sales reports
B. Report Generation
- Reports actual sales to Finance for commission calculation
- Prepares performance reports (i.e. Store Sales Quota, Management Performance Sales, etc.) on a monthly basis
- Assists the MPC Senior Analyst in preparing inventory reports (projected, stock on-hand, outstanding orders and actual purchases) to be submitted to the MPC Officer
C. Technical
- Assists the MPC Senior Analyst in coordinating with the Information Systems Division to ensure the accuracy of data in the company’s inventory system
- Releases the price events created by Merchandising in the inventory system
- Ensures that price events are in accordance with the approved sale proposals
- Ensures the correctness of the prices that will take effect in the stores
D. Other Responsibilities
- Assists the MPC Senior Analyst in preparing the training materials and equipment necessary for the trainings conducted by the department
- Ensures that activities within the department strictly comply with the company’s policies and procedures

Minimum Education: College graduate with a degree in Mathematics / Economics / Accountancy / Finance
Finance or equivalent Minimum Work Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in merchandise planning and analysis/ budget allocation
