JOB SUMMARY:

This Investor Relations Specialist/ Officer is tasked with supporting the investor relations team and learning the key components of the company's financial and strategic operations. The Specialist's daily activities are geared towards financial forecasting, modelling and analysis, and building a solid foundation in investor relations.

  • Works on financial modeling and are introduced to the strategic aspects of IR, such as investor targeting and the development of investor relations plans.
  • Involves in the preparation of quarterly earnings calls and the annual report.
  • Analyzes shareholder data and monitor market activity.
  • Issuances of investors reports and notices.
  • Assists in the development and execution of the investor relations strategy and calendar, including earnings calls, investor conferences, and roadshows.
  • Supports in building and maintaining a robust investor database.
  • Maintains investor contact databases and tracks investor interactions.
  • Conducts industry research to support the investor relations team.
  • Assists with the logistics of investor conferences and earnings calls.
  • Manages the investor relations section of the company's website, keeping content up-to-date and accessible for investors and analysts.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 7 years of work experience in corporate finance or investor relations management, preferably in a power utility company and/or industry or either from a buy-side or sell-side position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or CFA designation is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an equity analyst or similar role, preferably in the capital market industry.
  • Proficiency in using financial databases and software, such as Bloomberg and FactSet.
  • Proficiency in navigating and extracting data from CEIC (insights.ceicdata.com).
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, economic principles, and investment analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial ratios.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Strong ethical standards and the ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Willing to work onsite (Ortigas, Pasig City)
