I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Performs daily audit of Cage, Table Games, Electronic Gaming Machine and Marketing transactions
  • Collects all documents relevant to audit to ensure that all transactions and reports can be substantiated with actual documents or references
  • Prepares reports which includes, but not limited to, liability, accruals, cash clearing, etc., by gathering data from documents collected and system reports
  • Prepares table games and electronic gaming machines daily flash reports by performing revenue reconciliation to ensure accurate recording of revenues and gaming taxes/license fees
  • Performs checks on promotional activities by reviewing qualifications and PAGCOR approved forms to determine if the actual execution of promotions and awarding of prizes are aligned with the implementing rules and guidelines
  • Observes soft count procedures by witnessing daily cash count of table games and electronic gaming machines bill drop
  • Issues audit exception report by summarizing the findings noted as they occur and addressing it to the personnel involved
  • Performs stress test of electronic gaming machines by witnessing test transactions together with PAGCOR and gaming operations personnel
  • Performs monthly and/or unscheduled inventory checks by witnessing actual count by cage personnel of cash, cash equivalents and chips, as well as, occasionally performing count of promotional vouchers, etc.
  • Assists internal/ external auditors and other relevant stakeholders by providing them with requested documents to ensure timely completion of the audit
  • Performs other job related duties assigned by the management

II. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or business related course
  • CPA or other certification is an advantage
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Financial and Operations Audit and/or Accounting

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Financial and Operations Audit and/or Accounting

Skills and Attributes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Application
  • Exposure in in-house or back office systems is an advantage
  • Maintain high degree of integrity while handling sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative, respond to team members requests and anticipate the needs of co-workers
  • Adaptable and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate or handle queries of operations
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
