Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the Business Engagement and Program Management Office (PMO) functions, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units, technology teams, and senior leadership, driving engagement and fostering collaborative partnerships to deliver key projects.
- Program Oversight: Manage and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of critical business programs, from planning and execution to tracking and reporting. Ensure that all projects meet deadlines, budgets, and scope requirements.
- Governance & Process Improvement: Establish and enforce project governance structures and processes to ensure consistent, efficient and transparent delivery of programs.
- Resource Management: Lead and mentor a team of program managers, project managers, and business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess and mitigate risks that may impact project timelines, quality, or cost. Lead teams in resolving project issues swiftly.
- Continuous Improvement: Work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for business process optimization and implement best practices across PMO functions.
- Experience: More than 10 years of experience in business engagement, project management and/or PMO leadership within financial services or a large-scale corporate environment.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, with excellent stakeholder management skills and experience driving strategic change.
- Program Management Expertise: Expertise in delivering complex business programs, managing a portfolio of projects and overseeing project governance, budgets and timelines.
- Methodology Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and experience applying them in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, influence decisions and manage expectations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) or Agile methodologies are a plus.
- Location: Must be based in the Philippines or willing to relocate to Metro Manila.
