Job Summary:
Ensures that end-to-end Mindanao Freight Operations KPIs are dutifully met pertinent to Cargo Inventory, Warehouse Management, End-to-End shipment/transshipment, retrieval, delivery, Personnel Management, Branch Performance, among others.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works and coordinates with other Divisions, Departments - CSM, FOM, MIS, FLS, TNP, ARM, Warehouse among others to ensure targets for both inbound and outbound are met relative to order management and fulfillment, transshipment; retrieval, delivery, inventory, collections and remittances;
- Direct all branch operations in collaboration with the different branch coordinators;
- Monitor target completion per branch ensuring all freight branch operations KPIs are dutifully met.
- Ensure compliance pertinent to regulatory and other legal requirements for Mindanao Operations;
- Liaisons and networks with other agencies – Port/Airport Authorities, Banks, etc. to ensure support systems contribute to seamless operation;
- Direct (pick-up and delivery services) operation and ensure productivity, accuracy, and or timeliness objectives;
- Assist the Division Head in all aspects of Branch activities to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means at running and managing Mindanao Operations;
- Plan, propose and assist the Division Head at implementing improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
- Religiously monitors proper documentation, diligently checks if all branches are performing e-DTRs and updating of CIS, and cargo and wall-to-wall inventory;
- Do on site visits based on requirement and rescue operations on emergency and need to cases.
- Maintain metrics, process and submit reportorial requirements as directed by the Provincial Head;
- Monitor branch operations relative to updates and status to customers; use/update CIS to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of shipment services.
- Ensure thru planning and coordination with other divisions, Mindanao Fleet Management is A-1 upkeep for all branches, including facilities;
- Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation.
- Monitor all branches cargo shipment; Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for cargo transit or delivery.
- Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
- Assist in developing safety and risk management program to ensure business continuity in emergency scenarios.
- Resolve at Provincial Operations Level issues and concerns pertinent to customer complaints and branch concerns and challenges.
- Ensure compliance to all company policies and directives.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years managerial or 3 years Supervisory experience in Logistics
- Driven at meeting target volume shipment for inbound/outbound cargoes
- Strong networking, communication and coordination skills
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft applications and IT/Technology applications
