The Cost & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for validating and ensuring accuracy of inventory documents and transactions integral for food cost reporting; monitoring and analysis of assigned Brand’s Food Cost performance; and ensures that data integrity is maintained at all times.
What you’re expected to do?
- Ensures that cost reconciliation with assigned entities is conducted in a timely manner
- Reconciles inventory-related discrepancies with Operations and Purchasing to ensure accurate system entries
- Coordinates all activities relating to the physical count of the assigned brand
- Consolidates all physical count results and updates the system within the approved schedule
- Reconciles physical count results with the assigned inventory locations
- Prepares monthly Variance Reports for assigned brand
- Generates and submits validated inventory data for the assigned locations
- Prepares and submits monthly CGS Summary Reports for Financial Reporting
- Processes inventory related transactions for assigned entities as part of the reconciliation
- Ensures timely update of system entries for assigned entities
- Ensures all entries are reconciled
- Runs and analyzes unit costs to ensure accuracy
- Facilitates system adjustment to correct or reverse entries
- Performs receiving approval procedure on a daily basis
- Certifies that all monthly COGS numbers are accurate
- Prepares the Brand FC Monthly Comparative Report
- Prepares and consolidates all FC analysis reports such as Price Impact calculations, Variance Analysis, and other reports as required
- Addresses daily operational concerns of associates and/or specialists assigned to their brand
- Monitors team progress to ensure all deadlines are met
- Assists the Cost & Inventory Manager in accomplishing and consolidating output reports for Performance Evaluation

- Excellent excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to details is a must
- At least 1-2 years work experience handling inventory and costing in the food industry
- Understands inventory management and can crunch numbers and analyze as well as coordinate with operations to resolve variances
