PARALEGAL/SENIOR CASE COORDINATOR

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Paralegal/Senior Case Coordinator to be part of our team.
- This role is responsible for handling high-volume caseload from start to finish. This includes maintaining the firm calendar, updating attorneys, and coordinating case management activities. Informing legal assistants and attorneys of any dates changes or reminders on deadlines approaching. Coordination of cases which could include interaction through phone, and email, communications, and providing exceptional customer service. The Senior Case Coordinator will provide back up to the St. Legal Executive Assistant as needed.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Firm Calendar Management
- Maintain and update the firm calendar, ensuring all important deadlines and appointments are logged.
- Follow up with legal assistants to ensure timely updates on matters, keeping attorneys informed of any changes.
Case Coordination
- Oversee the coordination of cases, ensuring that all relevant information is organized and accessible.
- Update Clio with the next status date and pertinent case notes to maintain accurate records.
Client Communication
- Draft and send Client Status Updates, providing clear and concise information on case progress.
- Interact with clients through phone, and email, to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Return phone calls and emails promptly, with a 24-hour turnaround for voicemails and emails.
Legal Document Preparation
- Prepare legal documents for submission to insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Create demand packages for submission to insurance providers.
File Management
- Scan, upload, and add mail to the Case Management Database, maintaining organized and confidential files.
- Add faxes to the Case Management system and distribute them to relevant staff/attorneys.
Administrative Support
- Provide general support to attorneys and the Sr. Legal Executive Assistant, completing daily and weekly tasks as assigned.
- Handle miscellaneous projects and assist in maintaining office operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a case coordinator or in a similar role within a legal environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation.
- Amenable to work on a nightshift schedule.
- Must be able to work on our site in 6th Floor Tower 1Rockwell Business Center, Ortigas
