Location: On site our Metro Manila site offices

ABOUT THE ROLE: The prospective client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Contractor to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the quality and reliability of their web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, possess strong Agile experience, and work seamlessly with their development team from the beginning of each sprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Case Development: Create and maintain comprehensive test cases in our test case repository tool, ensuring all functionalities of the web and mobile application are thoroughly tested.

• Agile Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders from sprint planning to sprint review, ensuring all features are tested and meet the acceptance criteria.

• Manual and Automated Testing: Conduct both manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure the highest quality of our web and mobile applications.

• Defect Tracking: Log and track defects in the defect tracking system, providing detailed information to facilitate defect resolution.

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.

• Documentation: Document test plans, test cases, and test results, ensuring all testing activities are well-documented and accessible.

• Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, working effectively with team members across different time zones and departments.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA, with a focus on web and mobile applications and Agile methodologies.

• Self-Starter: Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative without constant supervision.

• Agile Experience: Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments, participating actively from sprint planning to sprint review.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using test case repository tools and defect tracking systems.

o Familiarity with automated testing tools (specifically TestComplete) is a plus.

o OutSystems, SAP and/or PeopleSoft testing experience, including custom PeopleTools applications are preferred but not required.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical interested parties.

• Team Fit: Ability to work well with others, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Working Hours: • Must be available to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours to ensure alignment with the rest of the team.
