Job Summary:
Do you have a passion for editing YouTube Shorts, TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, and other social media short-form content? As a Content Creator/Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and creating content that captivates and retains audience attention. Your work will focus on creating dynamic short-form videos that are clean, visually appealing, and optimized for different platforms. You should have a strong understanding of video formats, the rule of thirds, and industry standards for viral content.
Responsibilities:
Edit and produce high-quality short-form video content for social media platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.)
Create promotional ads, faceless reels, and documentary-style videos with professional-grade output
Ensure videos adhere to platform-specific formats, dimensions, and requirements (aspect ratios, resolutions, etc.)
Apply the rule of thirds and other composition techniques to create visually balanced and appealing content
Add engaging animated subtitles, motion graphics, cool effects, text animations, and professional color grading
Develop videos that maximize audience retention, using creative techniques to maintain viewer engagement
Ensure quick delivery of videos while maintaining quality and consistency
Stay updated with the latest trends in social media and viral content, incorporating these trends into your work
Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align content with brand goals and campaign strategies
Ensure all content is clean, professional, and aligns with industry standards for viral content

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a video editor/content creator, with a focus on short-form content for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Products Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
Strong understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements (e.g., 9:16 for TikTok, 1:1 for Instagram)
Proficiency in applying the rule of thirds, visual composition, and design principles to create engaging content
Experience with motion graphics, cool effects, text animations, and professional color grading
Ability to quickly edit and produce high-quality videos, often within 24 hours
Strong knowledge of video content strategies that drive engagement and viral potential
Familiarity with different types of content, including tiktok ads, faceless reels, promotional content, and long-form content
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Bonus Skills:
Experience with SEO and social media analytics to optimize content performance
