  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Financial Reporting Accountant performs financial functions related to the monthly closing of books, consolidation of financial statements, analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts, and preparation of financial and other regulatory reports.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates in the monthly closing activities such as expense accruals, foreign exchange revaluation, depreciation run and consolidation of the Company and subsidiaries financial statements.
  • Analyzes monthly and year to date fluctuations of balance sheet and income statements accounts.
  • Prepares monthly financial reports
  • Prepares the consolidated financial statements and SEC Forms 17Q/17A on a quarterly and annual basis for submission to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
  • Coordinates with subsidiaries for unusual items/transactions reported in the monthly financial statements submitted by subsidiaries.
  • Prepares/reviews monthly and annual reports submitted to the Energy Regulatory Commission and other regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinates with other offices for schedules supporting the balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigates for unusual items in the schedules submitted.
  • Prepares the monthly income tax and deferred tax computation
  • Assists in the preparation of annual income tax returns for submission to the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
  • Provides assistance to the external and internal auditors
  • Prepares schedules/documents required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) auditors during examination of the Company’s taxes.
  • Monthly allocation of pass though VAT collection for remittance to the generator and transmission companies.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • SAP

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in audit or in related field
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in excel, word and power point presentation
  • Problem solving skills
  • Must be willing to work on-site at Ortigas, Pasig City
