Overview: We are seeking a proactive and organized Marketing and Administrative Assistant to join our team, focusing on the successful launch of our wellness book and other products. The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills and a passion for wellness and empowerment. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management
1.1 Content Creation & Posting:
- Develop and execute a content plan for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Create, schedule, and post engaging content, including posts, reels, and TikToks, focused on the book launch and related wellness topics.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages to foster community engagement.
1.2 Branding & Outreach:
- Ensure consistent branding across all social media platforms.
- Collaborate with design teams for visuals and other creative assets.
- Coordinate with influencers, bloggers, and reviewers to generate buzz and positive reviews.
2. Research, Administrative Work, & Partner Outreach
2.1 Research & Outreach:
- Identify and reach out to potential partners, influencers, and reviewers for collaborations.
- Coordinate with podcast, radio, and TV hosts to secure guest appearances for the author.
- Organize and maintain a list of media contacts, book reviewers, and wellness community leaders.
2.2 Administrative Support:
- Assist with drafting and sending email s, newsletters, and promotional content.
- Support the setup and optimization of email marketing systems, including list-building strategies and launch email s.
- Handle logistics for book launch events, including venue outreach, event planning, and partner coordination.
3. Platform Setup, Optimization, & Management
3.1 Amazon Author Central & Goodreads:
- Set up and optimize profiles on Amazon Author Central and Goodreads to establish a professional presence.
- Manage giveaways, reviews, and audience engagement on these platforms.
3.2 Website & Email Marketing:
- Work with the design team to feature the book prominently on the MindBodyWarrior website.
- Manage email collection and promotion efforts to build anticipation for the book launch.
- Oversee the creation, management and distribution of email newsletters and teasers to maintain audience interest.
3.3 Additional Tools & Platforms:
- Support the setup and management of other relevant tools and platforms as needed, ensuring all are optimized for peak performance and user engagement.
- Assist in developing a blogging strategy, including content calendar creation, and repurposing content for platforms like Medium and Quora.
Qualifications:
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to work.
- Experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and social media tools.
- Interest in wellness and empowerment is a plus.
Work Environment:
Remote position, with the flexibility to manage your schedule and join meetings when needed on Eastern Time.
